“Paramount made it very easy for me to know what I was to expect, as well as what the pricing was going to be.”
My name is Flo, this was actually one of the first house that I've looked at when I was looking for SDA, and the process was pretty straightforward.

What do you enjoy doing most in your new home? Are there any particular activities you like doing that you can now do more easily?
Participant
I've got a space where I can get my friends to come over and play music together and just hang out basically. I like to play records and I also play the guitar. So anything from reggae to rock and bass music and some old school 70s pop and rock music as well. I've got a proper kitchen that I can cook, so I enjoy cooking and make some nice foods with my friends as well.

How has the location of your new home made life easier or more convenient for you?
Participant
I've got like a few friends just five, ten minutes from here, and I've also got the tram next door, so that's very convenient just to go to the city or to get my friends to come over. There's heaps of parking as well at the front. It's close to the market and work as well, which is very convenient for me. And yeah, there's a doggie park as well next door.
“Now I’ve got a space where I can get my friends to come over and play music together.”
Florent, known as Flo, is 38 years old and recently moved into his new SDA home. Music is a meaningful part of his life, and he enjoys playing guitar across a wide range of styles, including reggae, rock, bass music, and old-school 70s pop and rock. His home is not only a place to live, but also a space where he can express himself creatively, work comfortably, and spend time with the people who matter to him.
Florent also works from home, so having a quiet and safe environment was a major factor in helping him feel comfortable. The layout of the home gives him a peaceful space at the back of the house where he can work without being disturbed. This has supported both his independence and his daily routine.
The location has also played a major role in Florent’s positive experience. He has friends living only five to ten minutes away, making it easier for them to visit. The tram nearby provides convenient access to the city, and the available parking makes it easier for guests to come over. The home is also close to the market, close to work, and near green spaces such as a dog park and Bundoora Park Farm.
